Raising Young Entrepreneurs (RYE’ 2023) is a comprehensive entrepreneurship training program designed explicitly for Lagos-based undergraduate students, aiming to elevate small businesses and prepare them for potential investment opportunities.
RYE’23 marked a promising beginning for this initiative, offering three days of inspiration, skill development, and empowerment for aspiring entrepreneurs. The diverse participants fostered an atmosphere of collaboration and growth, showcasing their innovative startup ideas and business dreams. The event featured well-rounded facilitators who offered guidance and played a crucial role in equipping students with essential entrepreneurial skills and knowledge.
The Fireside Chat section allowed participants to engage with and gain insights from accomplished business executives, including the MD and CEO of PAC Holdings, Mr Chris Oshiafi, who provided invaluable knowledge and mentorship.
The event’s climax was a fierce business pitch competition on the third day. Participants passionately presented their business concepts, and three deserving winners were awarded seed funding from the PAC Foundation and sponsors.
A unique one-month mentorship opportunity, enabling students to interact with seasoned business owners, was available after the program.
