A community sensitization on proper
waste disposal and management

The foundation embarked on a community outreach to sensitize and cleanup the Masewo community in Mushin, Lagos State with eighteen (18) volunteers from the PAC Group.  The cleanup exercise ended with a community sensitization on proper waste disposal and management. The waste gathered at the end of the cleanup was 1.54tonne (1540kg). The foundation also donated some waste disposal bags and cleaning items to the community. The sanitation exercise was supported by the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) who donated cleaning materials and post waste pickup service.

Hundred (100) households from the communities were also gifted PAC-branded food boxes containing 5kg of rice, a liter of oil, a pack of Maggi, a pack of salt, and packs of spaghetti. This, the foundation did in contribution to the global fight against hunger.
